The Maid of Honor and the bridesmaids usually give the wedding shower. Often,
with the help of the brides mother. There may be more than one shower, sometimes co-workers will give a shower at the workplace or in a restaurant close to the job. The groom?s family if they live far away, my want to give a shower of their own. One word of caution, you shouldn?t invite anyone to a shower who isn?t invited to the wedding. Planning a baby shower can be a fun but challenging task. One task crucial to many baby showers is picking the right baby shower invitations. Below are some ideas for baby shower invitations.
1) Themed Baby Shower Cards - Baby shower invitations cards are the most common way to invite guests to your special occasion. These cards come in a variety of shapes, sizes, and themes. Some printers will even print your own personalized text onto the card.
2) Candy Wrapper Birth Announcements - Candy wrappers are another popular way to announce a baby shower. The guest will receive a candy bar or other tasty treat and the wrapper will contain the information for the baby shower.

Milestone Birthday Ideas, a Roast
by: Mike Hamilton
Milestone Birthdays can be a lot of fun.
One idea for celebrating a milestone is a roast. One of my favorite themes for a birthday roast is a memorial.
The first thing you will want to do is send out the birthday invitations formatted like an obituary.
A cheesy black and white picture of a younger version of the decedent adds a touch of legitimacy to the document.
If you or any of your cronies have a flair for creative writing this can be a very warm and funny tribute, as well as a keepsake for all attendees.
The location for the roast or memorial should be as somber as possible and decorated as such.
Be sure to greet the guests in your with your most solemn and understated demeanor.
Just before the festivities begin have your pall bearers bring in the cake, unlit.
Make it as realistic as possible and give the pall bearers...

Choose a party date and time. Most children's birthday parties are generally one to two hours long.
